My Story
Hi, I’m Anna - an educator, a mom, and the heart behind Beyond the Basics Tutoring.
This business was created in honor of my incredible son, who is autistic. Through him, I’ve learned that there’s no one-size-fits-all path to learning and that the most meaningful growth happens when we go beyond the basics.
Here you will find educational support for children of all learning styles - even the neurodivergent learners! I know how hard it is to find good resources that are incredibly effective for everyone - especially those with Autism and ADHD, so I decided to change the game! My tutoring, mini lessons, printables, and worksheets are thoughtfully designed to reduce overwhelm, support focus, and encourage confidence—without sacrificing the fun or flexibility!
Whether you're a parent, teacher, or caregiver, my goal is to equip you with tools that are not only effective, but also family-friendly and meet children where they are. I believe that when learning is fun, inclusive, and led with heart, every child will flourish.
