Personal + Adaptable
Tutoring is essential for closing gaps in learning.
66% of students are reading BELOW grade level by 4th grade!

This means over half of students are struggling to independently read instructions, novels, documents, textbooks, and other grade level materials that are essential to learning . . . and your child is likely one of them!
No fault to teachers, but with so many kids in a classroom it is hard to create activities that will encourage growth with every kid.
That's why I created BTB Tutoring.
Welcome Newbie!

What to Expect
Motivated Students
Students usually come to tutoring anxious and not sure what to expect. They may also have low self-esteem. I get it. My goal is for \every student to leave feeling proud of themselves and with the ability to do it independently. Students who can show/prove their answers are motivated to learn new things!
Increased Understanding
In school today, it is extremely difficult to have every student in a classroom understand what is being taught at the time it is taught. That is due to limitations in time and strategies that can be given in a single lesson. With 1-1 tutoring, your child will learn with the strategies that fit them. Tutoring is also adaptable to your child and will provide whatever tools necessary for your child to fully understand the material.
Academic Confidence
Confidence is built through trust and understanding ones own capabilities. Students that are shown strategies to solve problems in a way they understand will have confidence when faced with a new problem. BTB offers a variety of strategies to students and will focus on the ones your child can understand best.
Accelerated Growth
Your child's growth will be accelerated in tutoring due to the 1-1 nature of it. However, the amount of growth will be different from student to student. For some, significant growth can happen after only a couple sessions!

It is important to understand kids will progress at different rates. Praise your child after every accomplishment no matter how small to encourage growth.
